Hovering once again on the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo's F-Zero GP Legend offers another excellent race experience. The game retains the elements that have made it great in the past and comes with new racing circuits and a storyline that features characters from the television show.

At its core, the title serves entertaining, futuristic, ultra-high-speed races on specially constructed tracks that are located all over the universe. Based on the TV show, players get to control eight different characters that include Captain Falcon; Rick Wheeler, a new race star; and the evil lord Black Shadow.

Fast and furious races take place throughout a story that spans multiple planets. And once players complete the story mode, there's plenty of racing to enjoy through the many time trails and Grand Prix cups and a challenge mode. A plus, the title supports multiple players so up to four may compete.

Controls are intuitive and easy to use. The game looks great and aside from some aggressive driving, the game is mostly non violent.

Nintendo will always have its franchises and while F-Zero GP Legend may initially seem as if the company is simply dipping into the well to capitalize on its popular series, the game is an entertaining racer that we can highly recommend.
