Wario, the king of mini-games, is back with some 200 all-new activities and a new way to play them. In Nintendo's WarioWare: Twisted!, players control the action by rotating the entire Game Boy Advance left or right and, sometimes, pressing the A Button. The title comes with a Gyro Sensor that detects sideways motion. It's an innovative game that's lots of fun to play.
It seems that Dr. Crygor fixes Wario's busted GBA by tossing it into a high-tech piece of laboratory equipment that looks suspiciously like a washing machine. When the GBA emerges, Wario discovers that he can play games by spinning it. Always on the lookout for new money-making schemes, Wario enlists his team of developers from WarioWare, Inc. to create spin-controlled microgames. And players are the clear beneficiaries who have fun trying to finish each game within the allotted time.
The title features lots of activities that make use of the new control. While the basic control remains much the same throughout, players will find themselves spinning their GBAs in creative, varied and fun mini-games. Players get to unlock some 130 souvenirs that include bonus games, moveable figurines, music, instruments, and other novelties. The game also provides a new way to play classic 8-bit games such as Excitebike and Super Mario Bros.
The game's graphics are good, about what you would expect in a GBA game. The game is also family friendly. This is a great title for the kids.
Leave it Nintendo to come up with an innovative game that takes the Wario theme in new directions. Gamers will have a total blast playing with their GBAs in the spin cycle.
