After hitting it big on the Game Boy Advance in WarioWare Inc.: Mega MicroGame$ (Daytrum Review), Nintendo brings Wario and his brand of fast and furious gaming to the GameCube in WarioWare Inc.: Mega Party Game$. The title features some 200-plus minigames from WarioWare Inc.: Mega MicroGame$ and uses them as the basis for some fun multi-player activities.

While WarioWare initially sounds like a collection of games, it's not. With the help of his friends, Wario develops some 200 mini-games and challenges players to beat them all within a given time limit. Each developer specializes in a particular genre so players have a vague idea of what to expect, but there are no directions. The simple games with the single objectives keep coming, and they speed up.

The emphasis in this Wario title is on multi-play. Gamers get to compete against three others, or up to 16 may share a single controller. There's a survivor/last person standing game, a crazed board game that resembles the classic Othello with a Wario-twist, activities where players undermine fellow players and more. It's all a lot of fun, and if players like, they may also challenge themselves to a fun single-player mode.

The graphics look like those in the Game Boy Advance version which may disappoint some. In the end, those who have played the Game Boy Advance version may find little here to interest them. But as a party game, WarioWare Inc.: Mega Party Game$ succeeds and offers decent multi-player fun that families can enjoy.
