HP announced its Compaq Presario S4000 line, a PC platform that provides gamers, families, students and home office workers a balance of performance and value.
With Hyper-Threading, 64-megabyte Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2, and an open Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) 8x slot to enable additional graphics performance and gaming functionality, the high-end, Compaq Presario S4300NX promises excellent performance to optimize small business, home office, school or college projects, and support everyday gamers at a competitive price.
Additionally, most Presario S4000 series PCs include the free WildTangent gaming package. The package offers consumers limited versions of 10 gaming titles, such as Disney's Lilo &Stitch Pinball, Men in Black II CROSSFIRE, Blackhawk Striker and the popular Blasterball 2.

Compaq
Presario S4300NX:
The Compaq Presario S4300NX has a Pentium 4 PC with Hyper-Threading
capabilities; 2.40-gigahertz HT/ 800-megahertz processor; 512-megabyte PC2700
DDR (double data rate) memory; 48xCD-RW; 16xDVD-ROM; 64-megabyte Integrated
Intel Extreme graphics 2; and an open AGP 8x slot. Additionally, the Presario
S4300NX features a 120-gigabyte hard drive. At an estimated street price
of $799.99, including a $50 mail-in rebate, the Compaq Presario S4300NX
is currently available in retail stores and online from HP.
Mid
Range Models:
Mid-range models, including the S4100NX, S4200NX and the S4210NX
PC/monitor bundle, provide a range of power and performance at value prices.
All three models feature Intel Celeron processors, ranging from 2.4 to 2.6-gigahertz,
80 to 120-gigabyte hard drives, as well as CD-RW, DVD-ROM, or CD/DVD combo
drives for recording music and data to CD, or enjoying digital music, movies
and games. The S4100NX will be available for $499.99 starting June 29, with
the S4200NX available July 6 for $599.99. The S4210NX, bundled with the 15-inch
Compaq FP5017 flat panel monitor, will be available June 22 for just $999.99.

Presario S4000NX:
The Compaq Presario S4000NX features a Intel Celeron 2.4-gigahertz
/ 400-megahertz processor; 128-megabytePC2100 DDR (double data rate) memory;
a 40-gigabyte hard drive; 48xCD-RW and 32MB Integrated Intel Extreme UMA graphics.
The Compaq Presario S4200NX is expected to be available in retail
stores and on hpshopping.com beginning June 29 at an estimated street price
of $399.99, including a $50 mail-in rebate.
All models will feature Microsoft Windows XP home edition; 4-6 USB 2.0 ports; 10/100BT Ethernet port; a V.90 modem; and a Compaq Presario keyboard and PS/2 scroller mouse.
