Logitech
Attack 3
The Attack 3 joystick offers 11 programmable buttons and a throttle control,
and it's the company's first joystick in some time to offer an ambidextrous
handle that should be comfortable for both right and left-handed gamers. The
Logitech Attack 3 is available for $24.99
Logitech
recently introduced its newest lineup of gaming devices for the PC: the Logitech
Extreme 3D Pro joystick, the Logitech Attack 3 joystick, and the
Logitech Dual Action Pad gamepad.
Logitech
Extreme 3D Pro
According to the company, its Extreme 3D Pro blends useful features with
an eye-catching industrial design. The joystick offers twelve action buttons;
a comfortable twist handle, which should make it easier to control a rudder
in flight simulation games and rotate in first-person games; a rubberized 8-way
hat switch and a high-precision throttle. The Logitech Extreme 3D Pro
is available for U.S. $39.99
Both
joysticks are compatible with PCs and Macintoshes, and feature a space-saving,
weighted base that should keep them from shifting around during gameplay. In
addition, both offer a single centering spring within the body of the joystick
that should allow for smooth and accurate handle movements with equal force
applied in all directions.
Logitech
Dual Action Pad
The Dual Action Pad has a lightweight design that includes two rubber-capped
analog joysticks for good control and smooth 360-degree motion; an 8-way D-pad
that allows for precise movements within a game; four triggers and six buttons.
The Logitech Dual Action Pad is available for $19.99.
